FNB can not close my account, i need nothing to do with FNB

I hate this bank with a passion, my account has a hold because I have tonprovide my permit, im telling them i need to renew my permit and they said there is nothing that i can do unless i come with a permit, I want to close the account and still they can not help me, the lady branch manager at midrand branch keeps on telling me I should wait and listen to her untill she finishes speaking. How can we have a conversation when she speaks alone! now i can not close my personal account until i bring permit, this is frustrating especially foreign nationals with no permits, then i ask, why do you open the accounts when we dont have permits
