FNB Campaigns iStore Budget Option

I bought an Apple Mac from the iStore on March 29th, 2023. The only reason I decided to go through the iStore was due to the FNB Campaign that allows for a budget option to pay down the total amount over 16 or 32 months.

The campaign stated that the full amount would be charged to your credit card's straight facility and then transferred to the budget facility at the reduced rate within 3-5 working days of your purchase.

However, it has now been a total of 10 working days, and the full amount is still on my straight facility. Despite multiple chats on the FNB app, tickets logged, complaints, and escalations, I finally received an email from the campaigns department asking me once again to provide them with the iStore invoice number of the purchase. (I have done this every time I spoke with a representative from FNB)

I provided the invoice number three days ago, but there has been no reply or follow-up. After calling the number provided in the email, I was told to wait for an update as they cannot assist me over the phone. I am also concerned that the interest rate has been running daily on the total amount of R16,999, and I have yet to receive a response on how this would be rectified.

My recommendation is not to use FNB Campaigns for future purchases as the automated system they implement does not work, and they cannot help you with it over the phone or online. Additionally, the response time and customer service are terrible.
