FNB CALL CENTRE HELPLINE
Terrible serive. I HAVE NOW BEEN IN YOUR CALL WITH FNB CUSTOMER SERVICES HELP LINE FOR 39 MINUTES AND STILL NOT HELPED. BEEN TRANSFERED 6 TIMES BEEN ON HOLD FOR ALL THIS WASTED TIME. STILL NOBODY I HAVE SPOKEN TO HAS HELPED ME...ONLY MORE WASTE OF MY TIME. THEY PLACED TWO OF MY ACCOUNTS ON INACTIVE STATUS AND I NOW CANNOT ACCESS OR TRANSACT AND NEED TO GO THROUGH THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TO REACTIVATE THIS ACCOUNT TO SIMPLY GET A ACCOUNT CONFIRMATION LETTER. JUST ANOTHER WAY

04 Nov 2019, 15:36FNBank's must be honest when they sell us products (bank accounts) and not use bait-and-switch tactics to lure you in with low fees and then push you to do things that generate charges by declaring your status inactive when they believe your account is not yielding them enough money. I am perfectly happy to close my account with FNB if indeed this is their practise and the hardship I am suffering now is only a way to generate funds by them. I have now been instructed by the bank to go to a branch (again a strategy to justify having branches) to go and undo what they perfectly did on their own by placing my account in inactive status.
