FNB ****

My mother she's receives her pension via fnb which I convinced her to use thinking it's the best since I'm using it but I was wrong. This in February she called me very sad saying fnb is taking her money so I asked her to go to the bank and enquire about the debit they reversed some of it and said they will block future debit orders from this medic now and Gov something company but the problem continued she went back again they said they can't reverse the money since the debit is locked in😑 so I asked to come to where I work so we can go to FNB together in April we went to FNB and they said the debit order is locked in they can't reverse the money but they will block it again from debiting today she called me an hour ago very sad saying they debited again. So I need help to understand how does this happen my mother is old she doesn't have any debit orders, from my understanding for to be unable to reverse there must be a mandate that must approved by the account owner. FNB is allowing these ********s to pray on elderly which trusted them with their money and claim debit is locked in by who if the owner of the account doesn't know about it. FNB must we let it go and say it's locked in like you say πŸ’”

I just received a call from Chad Cornelson of FNB told me to tell my elderly mother to call a FNB call centre maybe they will help her stop the debit if possible but they don't have any obligation to do so or she contact the third party and tell them to stop the debit order. I'm officially Disappointed by FNB. I asked calling a call centre is better than going to bank? He said she must call the call centre. This means they can't help her when they called after the post asking her ID number to access her account I was hopeful but now I'm back to square one. I Salute FNB
