FNB Business sabotages my business without even 1 day notice. *****s. Brain dead idiots.

FNB Business - in pathetic fashion as usual rolls out updates over month end and doesn't even give clients 1 days business notice. I get a SMS today that says from 28 Sep my one business account will no longer get OTP's via email. My business functions and relies 100% on those emails for automation! What a bunch of effing *********** delinquents at FNB. How about some NOTICE *****s! Also does that mean for ALL my businesses or only 1? FNB communicates through their rear ends. I don't use SMS OTPS as they are insecure and tie me to one device. Meaning my business suffers if my phone is damaged or ****** or more likely with loadshedding has NO CELL SIGNAL - Now I can't do banking. Oh well Standard bank here I come. Almost 24 Years with FNB. Now on monthend as usual I have to make other plans. I'm done with this pathetic hairbrained bank. The software developers honesty wouldn't last a day in the first world. ******s in the zoo could do a better job. Except for the hello peter employee at atleast they appear to do their job. I pity that person. You know what the F stands for in FNB? How can we F you. Thats all they seem good at doing with business banking.

Please see the SMS I received : "FNB High Priority Complaint ref 22794XX been sent to Customer Resolution Centre ***. A consultant will contact you within 24-48 business hours."

What I find hypocritical is that FNB expects me to give them 24-48 business hours of time to respond to a complaint, yet they don't even give me the same notice or time to implement business changes to my software and processes! Also...technically I think they should say 1-2 Business DAYS not 24-48 hours as most businesses work 8 hours per day and that means this could be between 3 - 6 days...

So I received a reply today. Apparently FNB never sent the sms it's a "**********" sms. I don't buy that excuse.

Please see the below sms
*******
FNB: Please note from 28 September 2020, you will no longer receive One Time Pins (OTP) via email for your business debit card ending ***685X . Your OTP's will be sent via SMS to this cell phone number. To update your cell phone number details, go to our digital channels. FNB a div of FRB Ltd Authorised FSP NCRCP20.

If it's **** what would be the motive?
There's no link to a **** website, there's no request for information so why would someone pay money to send an SMS like that. That doesn't make any sense. The number is even from FNBs series of phone numbers.

Someone stuffed up. Thank goodness this "feature" has been delayed / halted.

I will still be investigating other banks as FNB must think I'm dumb to believe the sms is ****. Why don't they just own the mistake and apologise, to pretend it didn't happen is worse.

What else happened? My staff who bank with FNB showed me the app has new features, like I said month end updates. What a silly idea. Lets roll out updates to clients over month end and if there's bugs or process changes tough luck to our clients over the most stressful period - when they need us (FNB) the most.

There are ways to verify the legitimacy of the sms, if FNB truly believes they never sent or instructed a 3rd party to send the SMS they should have no problem if I lay an official complaint with the FSCA or make use of the access to information act? All I want is honesty and transparency. So please I request FNB to confirm here on Hello Peter that the SMS is indeed **** and not sent by them.
