FNB Business model: How to earn more from customers

I have retired, and i foolishly decided to transfer all my savings from Investec to FNB 32 Day account. I know that this takes 2 days. I transferred the funds on Friday 2 September (before 4pm). The money only reflected in my FNB account on Tuesday 6 September - no issue - but the "cash" that I transferred is not accessible! ("Insufficient Funds" notice when I try and plan a transfer.) And I need to transfer funds before month end to pay my bills. The closer you leave this to the transfer date, the higher the penalty. Can it be that this is intensional (so that they earn higher fees)?

I have received several messages from FNB to say that they are dealing with the problem, including reference numbers. But there has not been one personal call and the issue is getting worse. Every time you call, you talk to a different "unsimpathetic" individual who can only give you a reference number, or a ****-and-bull story like "I will call you back in an hour when the issue is resolved".
