FNB Business - full of empty promises

I recently tried to register a company through FNB business. I made two payments through the website, none of which was recognised by FNB, even though it left my account.

I phoned the call center, which advised that they will send an email to which I must reply. I never received this email, only to find out a week later that they somehow managed to send the email to an old work adress, even though it was not the adress used on the application. I have no idea how they managed that.

About a week ago I was told that the money would be paid buck. To date, no payment has reflected into my account.

Yesterday I was told that the payment will be processed this coming Friday. Given the history of this issue, I have very little faith that it will materialise. The call center keeps on "escalating the matter" and then blames Finance when nothing happens.

I have no interest in dealing with FNB any longer, but would like them to pay my money back.

Daffnie, this has been going on since 29/07/2017. I have lost all faith that this will in fact be resolved. I have emails confirming that payments would have been made this past Friday - none received. Speak to Ntombi, she will have an email trail of at least three weeks. I find it very worrying that FNB 1) takes money from people, and then have no idea where it is 2) when they find the money, cannot figure out how to make payment and 3) lie to people in writing. At this point, I am rather greatful that it worked out the way it did. What if I made the switch, and you lost all my money?

Also, I note the matter has been forwarded again. You are really good at forwarding and escalating, but that is where it all ends.

Please understand that I am not in a position to assist you as I am not the product house.

However I can only escalate to them to try and get assistance. You will need to liaise with them directly.

I once again apologise for the frustration caused.

Regards,

Daffnie

FNB is really good at escalating i.e. passing the buck. Please get me a telephone number of someone in charge, not someone in a call centre, so that I can sort this out myself. FNB clearly does not care enough to sort it out from there side.
