FNB Business: False Promises, Phantom Charges, and Zero Accountability

Review: I am writing this as a warning to fellow entrepreneurs: Stay far away from FNB Business. I opened a new business account under the explicit, specific assurance from their agent that it included SLOW Lounge access. This was my primary requirement and the sole reason I opened the account.

Despite these verbal guarantees, I was surreptitiously charged after using the lounge. When I queried this, FNB simply claimed it wasn't part of my package—effectively admitting their agent blatantly **** to secure the sale.

The "service" since then has been a nightmare. I have spent over two hours on calls, only to be constantly cut off by agents the moment the conversation gets difficult. It is seemingly impossible to escalate or obtain the original call recording, which FNB refuses to pull.

Coming from Discovery Bank, the chasm in digital capability is shocking. FNB’s systems feel stuck in the stone ages. I will be closing this account. Do not trust their sales pitches; they will lure you in with lies and then stonewall you when you hold them to it.
