FNB Business Care- a THIRD WORLD Banking Service
I sincerely hope that Marcell Klaassen (Head of FNB Business Banking) has sight of these complaints, as it was he, with much fanfare, who initiated the 24/7 "FNB Business Care". If he does see this, I would suggest a more appropriate name for his department is "FNB Business Dont-Care" Recently FNB Online Banking blocked my ability to transact my business account using my laptop computer. The cause of this was a software glitch, which resulted in their system no longer "recognising" this computer, despite the fact that this same machine has been used for this purpose for five years now. Its a fairly common glitch which other FNB clients will have experienced, and displays as an 9999 or 750 Error code, stating "Your Daily Limit has been exceeded" even though it hasn't. To correct this, FNB needs only to press a button and re-verify the machine being used to operate the account. Before this, however, one needs to get FNB Business Care to respond! After 16 days of fruitless efforts, four unanswered emails through their official channels (all with reference numbers), a 40 minute international phone call to their Call Centre (I am based in Australia), and this matter being "escalated" to a supervisor who has also failed to respond, I am still no closer to getting this issue resolved. Is this the best you can do, Marcell? Because it just isn't good enough!
The main takeaway for me here, is that the only thing FNB responds to is a negative report on HelloPeter. For which reason they have put in place a Hello Peter Complaints Team. It must be a fulltime job!

I have now received another "tried to phone you but to no avail" email from FNB. This time they phoned the right country, but forgot to look at the time. The call came in at 01h30 in the morning!
I am shaking my head in disbelief.
