FNB business banking - STAY AWAY
Rant ahead *** I have been trying to open a business account with First National Bank since the 5th of June. FNB prides itself with allowing you to open accounts via their website but unless you want to wait over 3 months to use this account then I suggest you stay clear!!

I app**** for a business account from FNB on June 5th, to this day I have not been successful. I had to go through a rigmarole to get the paper work done which after getting it done, I was told was not suffice.

I was told I need to have Proof of address which is posted to my address. Firstly NO ONE gets post anymore and secondly I always choose to receive my accounts via email because it is easier and because I am renting at my current address.

I phoned last week and asked them to please get back to me regarding my paperwork which I sent through AGAIN. I have yet to hear despite the automated email response saying they will contact me within 2-3 working days.

I work retail hours and I am unable to make it to the bank - which is why I app**** online.

It would be INCREDIBLE if someone at FNB could sort out this account soon. If I don't hear from FNB I will be closing my half opened business.
