FNB business banking... So disappointed:( NOT AS ADVERTISED

So I decided to open up my business account with FNB, they are so well advertised and certainly do give the impression that they are the professionals in their field and well customer service is top priority.

I started my unfortunate journey with them by applying online, this is the perk of FNB right? Loaded details carefully, this is my business after all, I want only the best. To my delight not much time went by When I received a call from a gentleman (I don't recall his name) but very friendly and helpful which is what one expects from customer services. They sent me documents to fill in and sign and called me once again, excellent service. One problem though, he kept making reference to me in my ****en name... I of co**** corrected him, I don't recall how many times. He didn't seem to be too worried about it so I wasn't. This is after all FNB, the best in the business surely they wouldn't load my business under my ****en name even though I have been married for 9 years, app**** online using my married name, sent all documents including my ID displaying my married name, surely not? Surely I had chosen the right partner, one that pays special attention to all or at least some of the details submitted? I used to bank with FNB years ago, which is why, I naturally assume that they have my ****en name attached to my ID. I received a call from the courier company to arrange a card delivery using my ****en name... The account despite all details given including my marriage certificate had been opened under my ****en name... I am dumbfounded, truly I am, there are just no words. I emailed with little acknowledgment of the situation, in fact a week later I received yet another call from the courier company to arrange delivery, once again in my ****en name. I received an email today confirming that my account has officially been opened, congratulations ***xx ****EN NAME!!!!

Well natrually I have now had enough so I called FNB business department and was put through to their service

supervisor: Mabeela Ahned, she was very dismissive and did not acknowledge the severity of my situation nor did she apologize on behalf of the establishment that she represents which as basic customer service goes would have been the best way to handle an irate customer.

I found her rude and dismissive and she quite frankly made me feel as though I am a huge inconvenience to FNB and how dare I question them. I have sent an email, which will be ignored as were the rest of my mails, so social media it is then.... @ FNB, I know you record your calls, you should go listen to the call made at about 3pm, 5 September, tell me is this how you treat your customers? You place staff in leadership roles that disrespect your customers? Needless to say I will not be entrusting FNB with my business account......
