FNB Business Banking is an absolute farce

I have been struggling to gain access to our company's business account since October 2020 when the director that used to have sole access to the account, resigned. Said person authorised change of ownership of the account to me (I am also a member of the board), but apparently this is simply just too complicated. I have spent hours on the phone trying to explain this scenario - eventually I'm told that we need to send through an updated COR39 document from the CIPC to indicate the change in directorship. I send this through, no response for another few weeks. Then I find out apparently the current owner needs to send it themselves, so we request this from them. Yet, I still do not have access to my own business account!

Three months and countless phone calls! Everything has been authorised and is in place, all documentation has been signed and sent through... We are in a difficult position as the person who currently has sole access to the account left our company on bad terms and we do not really have direct contact with them.

The permissions desk emailed to ask our directors what the most convenient time would be for them to phone us all to verify the change of ownership (apparently the last step) and we rep**** that they could do so within normal business hours of the next day, yet of course absolutely nothing happened, and another week has almost passed again... We still can't pay our bills... We still can't finalise our taxes... We still can't access our account... WHAT IS THE HOLD UP? How can any business continue with this kind of struggle?

I absolutely do not recommend FNB for any business banking. I do not know what to do anymore to force them to do their jobs. I've never been this frustrated and disgusted with an institution before. I regret the day we decided to open an account with this bank.
