FNB Business Banking – Governance Breach and Unacceptable Delays
As Chairman of the South Break Homeowners Association, I am compelled to raise serious concerns regarding FNB Business Banking’s handling of account access and governance protocols. Despite submitting a formal board resolution confirming the resignation of our former treasurer, FNB has continued to allow this individual access to our business account. This is a direct violation of our governance structure and poses a significant risk to the financial integrity of our organization. We have provided all necessary documentation, including trustee signatures and verified identification, yet FNB refuses to act on these instructions. Instead, we are subjected to circular communication, repeated requests for the same documents, and no meaningful resolution—while the former treasurer retains access to sensitive financial controls. This is not just inefficient—it is unacceptable. A business bank should uphold the highest standards of compliance, especially when dealing with nonprofit governance and fiduciary responsibility. FNB’s failure to act on a legitimate resolution from the board of trustees undermines trust and exposes our HOA to unnecessary risk. We demand immediate corrective action and a formal acknowledgment of this lapse. Anything less is a failure of duty.
