FNB Business Banking Forex Dept Sabotaging SME Business Growth- The Bank is A ****
I regret opening up a FNB Business Banking Account, I think the bank has lost touch with it's core market and they are failing to implement their own internal banking processes service delivery timelines. On the 5th of December one of our U.S based clients processed a payment into our business account for services to be rendered to them and when the funds got into the business account FNB put the funds into their forex compliance department who told me that they need to do verification processes and I also provided them with all the necessary transactional paperwork and supporting docs and I was told the funds will be cleared within a few days and they said the process will not take more than 7 days. The business banking consult who assisted me was arrogant and did not even care or even give assurance that the matter will be efficiently resolved, His name is Marc Chetty, the service he gave was by far the worst service I have ever received from FNB in my entire life, but to get straight to the point ever since the transaction was processed on the 5th of December today it's the 14th and even today the funds still has not been cleared and we are about to lose a client due to the fact that the services due to be rendered are being delayed and affected unnecessarily so without any logical reasons why they are being delayed. I honestly regret taking my business to FNB and I would like to advise all the small businesses to reconsider if they are planning to do business with international clients ..FNB is definitely NOT the bank for us, they are sabotaging us and sabotaging our business service delivery processes... I think they are definitely the very much *********** and they are doing a lot of harm to south African businesses they are just like our governing party in my eyes ..****** useless indeed...I am very much disappointed in FNB and I would not recommend any one to consider opening up a business account with them especially if that come is doing business with overseas clients, base on other similar complaints lodged against them I think it's about time we lodge complaints against FNB with the banking sector ombudsman. They are sabotaging SME business growth and developmental processes and they are an enemy of progress as a bank. I am gatvol.
