FNB BUSINESS BANKING

I opened a business account with FNB in Feb/March 2017. I struggled to get feedback re the status of the account, and eventually gave up any attempts to have the account activated/opened. Months later in May 2017 a consultant from FNB phoned me on a Sunday and informed me that the account will be opened and that I needed to deposit an amount for activation. From there I received no feedback re delivery of my banking cards. When I followed up in July 2017 I was informed that the cards had already been delivered months ago. Currently I sit with a business account, which is accumulating maintenance fees every month and no way to access the account if I should decide to deposit money into the account. I have also phoned FNB numerous times and every time I have held the line for between 10-15 minutes.

Reviewer Update
Good day, I activated my business account and even got my banking card today, on my account it shows a debit of R 140.00 for a CARD REPLACEMENT FEE. This has to be removed immediately as I never requested a card replacement – I never got my first card that was conveniently just destroyed without my knowledge of it being ready for delivery/collection. I was never given an option to collect the card, which I would have done, gladly. The courier services never contacted me when the first card was ready for delivery. I will not use this account if it starts this way – please have it rectified immediately. Kind regards, Linda
