FNB Business account ***** - no support from FNB

On 8 September my purse was ****** and within minutes an array of transactions were made. I phoned and reported the case and stopped the cards - while i was on the phone with the bank they could see the transactions taking place and more being tried. FNB confirmed that they will condct an internal investigation - during this time i received no feedback, phone call or were asked what had happened. 3 weeks post the incident when I phoned to follow up, the call centre agent informed me that "the case was declined due to my pin that was used". This is even more upsetting, because I have never shared the pin with anyone. FNB refused that I speak to a more senior person. I was also not contacted after the case was escalated. FNB further shared that most transaction took place at Pick 'n Pay Market Store in Paarl Mall - however Pick 'n Pay confirmed that these transactions did not take place in their store. FNB Business is not assisting me, or have offered any form of support - R30 000 was ****** from my business account and I the only contact I've had was with a call centre agent. I have written an email to the complaints department - they responded (after I've attached their letter) to again ask for my account number and ID - which was all on the letter. I am disappointed in FNB and feel that their system can easily be hacked. I tried to report the case on the 8th of September and again on the 11th - SAPS required evidence from the bankwhich they said they could not give me as they were busy with the investigation and did not require a case number. In the mean time I feel that the transactions could have been tracked - and now I have to be satisfied with the outcome that my pin was used and is my responsibility. I did not share the pin with anyone and the combination of the pin was not related to important dates - it was a bank generated pin which again shows that the security was compromised. I want to have answers and speak to people that can actually assist - the online system only direct me to a call centre.

In my experience my FNB business account is not safe.
