FNB Branch and Call Centre is of no use

Hi all,

The Branch / Call centre service of FNB is terrible. I had an issue with my international purchases using my debit card. I went to FNB branch in Mall of Africa with a complaint and they just asked me to call the call center. We were made to call 3 times and all the three consultants gave me different reasons, ad then transferred me a department which never picked up the call, I was there on call for atlast 45 mins per call. One of the consultants even said that my card is fine and that the consumer website had a problem. At last one of the consutant said that it was because some details that FNB did not have it was not allowing to transfer, I filled up the details and sent it back to ********** hoping this would solve the issue. But Alas to no avail i just got a confirmation mail saying they recived the details but still cant purchase. I tried calling the number mentioned in their mail ********** 333 but it just kept me on hold and the funnily enough is that they cut the call and asked me to rate the service provided.

Due to the Rand weakening from the day I am tring to buy I have lost atleast 10000K. The Branches of FNB is basially help less they say they dont have the fnctionality to help and the only way is to go via the Call centre which never responds.

So basically best of luck if you need to go to branch or need to call centre if you have a real problem

Zaheer
