FNB becoming a spammer

Hi - SMS spam is always annoying. Unfortunately the bank which used to earn 5 stars from me has dropped to 4 stars because I receive several advertising SMSes each day from them. I do not want a loan or an overdraft. Just received an advert via the smartphone app advertising 'Paw' something.

I have to check my phone for each notification sound in case it is an alarm alert. All these FNB apps unnecessarily disturb my concentration. Give me the option to stop receiving these annoying messages.

Have started receiving Breakfast emails daily. When I followed the unsubscribe instructions, I received an email saying a consultant will get back to me. That is NOT what I wanted - I only want to unsubscribe. And judging by your seemingly unintentioned promises to respond, I have no confidence that a consultant will respond and so I will continue to receive those uninvited emails. Seems I might have to add your emails to my spam list. And to make it worse, you sent me that response email twice - from 2 different FNB addressess. Come on guys - get your house in order!
