FNB - ******* bank taking chances and breaking the law.
The most ******* bank EVER. A few years back I had no option but to apply for debt review. After being retrenchent in 2020 I made a direct agreement with the said my to pay them directly as I could no longer pay the debt review payments. I made my monthly payments as promised and after about 2 or 3 years spoke to my brother who was willing to settle the outstanding balance in full for me. FNB handed me over, regardless of the fact that I paid them every month and even aventually settling them in full. I have all the confirmation letters that I am paid up in full from GL Attorneys, yet FNB has now gone and opened and account on my name due to the fact that there is still an outstanding amount because no one notified them it was settled in full. Is this even legal? I was also handed over to various Attorneys. Certainly NOT legal. Once I supp**** them with proof of both accounts settled in full from the attorneys they still refuse to accept it as according to them there is still money outstanding on my cheque account. According to them because they wherenot notified that the matter was settled. This was suppose to bee done by the attorneys. Not me. That I know for a fact. So I would highly suggest stay away from this ******* bank as they are just there to ***** people over and ignore the law. I refuse to pay a dime further. I supp**** them with the proof. More than that I cant do. FNB simply does not want to accept the paid up letters from their attorneys. This baffles me. STAY AWWAY FROM FNB.
