FNB BANK FUNERAL CLAIM NIGHTMARE
Worst service ever. My father just past away. He had a funeral policy with liberty. Which we had to claim at fnb as told by liberty. Traveled 1hr30 only to be turned away by fnb that he doesn't have a claim with them. Called liberty then was told to go back to fnb the following day. Liberty instructed fnb employee on what to do. As daughter i filled in the form as my dad always told me i was da beneficiary. A week later after i made a follow-up on the claim they told me my mother was the beneficiary but they never bothered to tell us when i went there. I went back for the third time again with my mother. She filled out the claim. Again fnb did not know what to do and i had to tell them what to do as this was my third time at this. Again after a week... i called to make a follow up and i was just told that there is no claim on my fathers policy. My father passed on 18/01/2025. We started this claim on 20/01/2025(told theres no policy). Again on 21/01/2025(after a week told was not beneficiary). again on 29/01/2025 (after a week again told theres no claim made. No reference. That my mother must claim again. My mother is mourning. Then she must travel 1hr30 again. With what money. We held the funeral without this claim. Fnb didnt help us. We are now financially ruined because of fnb. This will be the fourth attempt at this policy claim. Traveling 1hr 30 to this bank. In the mean time traditionally my mother is not supposed to be gallivanting. I mean all other entities paid. Except for FnB. Banking with FnB Bank was the worst decision my late father ever made.
