FNB bank consultants dont need the clients permission to conduct trans

On Wednesday 15th June a manual transfer to the tune of about R2200 was carried out on my cheque account and it effected on Saturday 18th June. I spent most of that morning at the bank as I had not authorised the transaction and thought it may be *****.

On Tuesday 21st I eventually got to understand that the manual transaction was made by Dikeledi Seleka, a consultant, due to being overpaid on my claim for ********** accounts that had been debiting my account for several years.

In addition to the bank carrying out over 340 transactions there was no written notice about this debit that was scheduled. I have not received a reconciliation/ statement on these transactions despite requesting it numerous times.

I don't feel okay about an internal consultant delving into my account without my knowledge, being told that its not ***** and in addition spending so much time finding out who had in-fact carried out the transaction.

I was dealing with Petunia Sesoko, Zaakir Laws on this issue but they seem to have lost all interest and have not answered my questions.

I dont know what the laws are about a bank consultant carrying out manual transfers on my account without my knowledge or consent. My account has been subject to a lot of ***** and now to have consultants conducting transfers, how long has this been going on?
