FNB Bank bad service charging unnecessary fees

I am battling to close my cheque account with FNB after I have been deceived by the consultant who opened the account where I specifically told him I don't want a cheque account since I cannot afford the charges he insisted its the best. I have been running from branch to branch trying to close this account. I went to Fnb Bank city and the lady to me to wait for the October service fee to go off even though my salary for October was not even paid into the cheque account. I opened a saving account with Fnb since the charges are less. So the lady at Bank city Fnb could not close the account. On the 27th October I called the call centre who could also not close the account and reffered me to the branch. I went to Meadowdale Fnb where Phato assisted me and also could not close the account after I have paid the service fee for October. I am having no luck with Fnb. I refuse to pay any other charges and want this account closed
