FNB Bad For International Business

I wam writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the prolonged and unnecessary delays experienced in the processing of my recent company forex payment. This situation has now escalated to the point where it is affecting my business operations, client delivery timelines, and overall financial planning. To provide context, the first payment was received on Monday. However, it was unexpectedly returned by a charity due to a minor administrative error, the sender misspelled my business name, well and good I accepted. While unfortunate, this was an easily correctable issue, and I expected the second attempt to be handled with greater efficiency, especially considering that all parties were already aware of the transaction details. Yesterday, the second payment was initiated, yet instead of progress, I was met with a new set of compliance demands that can only be described as unrealistic and excessive. I was asked to provide documents proving ownership of the building where my company is registered, explain why my business operates from a residential address, and submit my company website. These requests are surprising, especially in today’s hybrid working world, where thousands of fully legitimate businesses operate remotely, virtually, or from mixed-use premises. Furthermore, this transaction is not new. We have been communicating about it for over a week. Given the ongoing back-and-forth, one would expect any compliance concerns to have been identified earlier, not at this late stage when the funds are urgently needed. The lack of urgency and coordination on your end has now resulted in significant delays that were entirely avoidable. As a direct consequence, I am now in a position where I must use my personal savings to serve a client who has already paid for my services. This is both inconvenient and professionally damaging. It is unacceptable that, despite my full cooperation and transparency throughout the process, I am still unable to access funds that rightfully belong to my business. I fully understand and respect compliance requirements, but they must be app**** reasonably, consistently, and with consideration for the client’s time and livelihood. I therefore request that this matter be escalated and resolved as a priority.
