FNB ATM Stole my money

I’m am so annoyed and tired of telling this stupid story with FNB yesterday.

I deposited money at the Quagga Shopping centre FNB branch ATM on Friday 10 December 2021. After going through the process of depositing, the slip came out saying unsuccessful and my money taken by the ATM. The staff for one don’t know why this happens and were unable to give guarantee of my refund including the manager, the explanation was half baked too. After speaking to the manager I had some peace of mind that the money will be returned by Saturday 11Dec. Saturday comes along, I get a call from a person giving me an update and adding in - the manager said I must call you as if it’s not the proper thing to do. Later the same person phoned me saying the money will reflect no later than midnight Saturday 11 Dec. It is well passed midnight and still nothing. I don’t think I use the ATM at own risk and if so, the bank and branch must stipulate this so that people stop using ATMs. There is no phone number for the branch, I have nobody’s contact details and I WANT MY MONEY! Who do I even follow up with??? It can’t be that I must wait for their so-called investigation before I get my money. I don’t understand what the hold up is when I am the one that was inconvenienced.
