FNB ATM Constantly Broken

FNB ATM Constantly Broken I live in Pringle Bay, Overstrand Municipality, Cape Province. The Telkom reception is intermittent at best and thus not suitable for internet banking. I therefore at times have to make use of the ATM or Bank Branch Service. Unfortunately I am an FNB Client. This was no problem up until a few months ago, as there was an FNB Branch and two FNB ATM’s in the Town of Kleinmond about 30kn from Pringle Bay. FNB then closed the Branch in Kleinmond without warning to Clients but promised there would still be full service ATM’s in the town. This did not happen. They closed the Branch and both of its existing ATM’s and the area was left without a full ATM for weeks, until eventually one was installed at the Kleinmond town shopping centre. This ATM did finally become semi operational but unfortunately it is totally unreliable. It is out of service most of the time. Both the locals and people who travel many km’s to use the ATM are left in the lurch. Local feelings regarding FNB are poor to say the least. I have on many occasions tried to report the problem telephonically to my Premier Banking team (each time I get a different person and have to start from scratch, so much for personalised service) but it appears that like everything else, it is not their department. What actually is their department I have yet to experience? They always refer me to a technical area ( ********** 188) that supposedly deals with these type of issues but despite many calls I have yet to speak to anyone who actually deals with the issue or really understands the problem. Everyone always promises to get back to me but they never do, so the disgusting service to FNB customers in the Kleinmond, Overstand area continues. The ATM number is: ATM ********** 5 - Kleinmond Shopping Centre. Please can this ATM be properly looked after and kept serviceable, as it is the only one for miles around and there are a lot of retired people in the area who are unable to travel another 50km to Herm****, being the nearest town that still has an FNB Branch. Many locals are being forced to switch to other Banks that have Branches and ATM’s in the area. Apparently this FNB ATM has a local person responsible for looking after it. Perhaps I could have his name address and contact details so that we can let him know when his machine is not working?
