FNB ATM cards not working

Tried withdrawing money at 2 different ATMs since arriving on holiday in Cape Town on 2 Dec. Got error code D055 on slip and via SMS. Phoned FNB Customer Care & was told to go try one more time since they could see no problems with the accounts. I refused to do this and demanded replacement cards - was told I would be charged for new cards, R130 for each. This is highly unfair and to top it my wife who is also with FNB now has the same problem with her cheque card - her card is less than 4 months old. I feel that it's unfair that I have to pay for FNB's poor card quality - my card is supposed to have lasted to Oct 2017 and my wife's is still brand new. From hellopeter I see a number of people have encounetred this problem.
