FNB

I recently made an error to an incorrect recipient on EFT, as per the banks instruction I sent in a reversal request. On inquiring I get told that the recipients account is in bad standing and they will not reverse my money. The money has not been drawn or transferred! So I am unfairly being told my money will not be reversed because of someone else's financial problems and because FNB is looking at recovering someone else's debt. This is theft in my eyes, grossly unfair, and they still want to charge me R298 to tell me this. I have had a business banking account since 2004 , which I am now going to promptly close and transfer to another bank with whom I can deal justly and fairly. I will also be logging this complaint with every institution I can find. FNB you are a disgrace! And I will in my life never ever refer anyone to your services which I have done many times in the past.
