FNB are a complete ******* of a bank
I'd like to start this review off by saying that I've only ever dealt with FNB and with Capitec, so I don't know how the other banks compare, but in my experience FNB are hands down the stingiest and worst when it comes to fees that they charge for their services.
A colleague of mine recently made an international Forex transfer into my account and for various reasons I had to reject it, but FNB felt like they were entitled to R350 for NOT actually doing anything. Literally no matter what you do with them, even sending a payment confirmation email to someone, they will charge you. Emails are free! How can they justify that?
They will take absolutely any opportunity to put their hands in your pockets. I have been ****** before and quite frankly there is little difference between that and banking with FNB. Except with FNB they do it to you multiple times a day and with a big smile on their face. They are a complete ******* and if you like having money my advice is to keep it elsewhere.
