FNB ARE *******

FNB has, in the past, taken money from my account without reason. The last amount was R12k (right before Christmas) and was returned after 90 days of non-stop fighting.

This time, they have taken R2500 from my account after THEIR ATM malfunctioned. I bank with Discovery Bank (whom I would highly recommend to ALL FNB customers) and they have advised that while they have escalated our complaint, the delay now sits with FNB.

Once again, I have been told it will take 90 days to return MY MONEY.

I have no doubt that this is an intentional "malfunction" in their system to receive funds which they can funnel through their various portfolios to allow for interest to accrue on money WHICH IS NOT RIGHTFULLY THEIRS. So far, I have had R14.5k UNJUSTLY taken from my accounts by FNB. If they have done this to 1000 other customers (a very conservative number) they will have accrued a grotesque sum of money ********LY. They hide behind a wall of inept "customer support agents" (apologies for insulting actual customer support agents) and ask that you go to a physical branch to fill out a physical report (IN 2023???) It is apparent that this is a well-thought-out crime, and I intend to expose this to whomever will listen.

I will be contacting a lawyer to identify whether there is any recourse I can take. I, as the owner of a PR agency, will also be reaching out to my media connections to begin an investigation into this.

FNB - I would like my money back NOW.
