FNB - APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I am so frustrated. Next week will be my 3rd week of not being able to access my account. First, it took them 2 days to let me know that my account was blocked because of a R15 that I received from a suspicious account, they asked for an explanation.
I explained that I got a certain online (Amazon)job from Facebook. Their first task was to like a product on Amazon then they pay you R15. The next task required me to pay R100 to get R130 or something. I refused and discontinued with their company/ 'job'. I sent evidence of all of this via email. Up until today, nothing has been done to either solicit more information from me (if that is what they need) or unblock my account.
Instead, I have been sent from pillar to post when I enquire. I have sent mail with ref: FNB Case ***-*** to *****reporting@fnb, Lunga B, S. Mhlambi, Care@fnb, etc. I have used fnb secure chat. I currently am unable to go to the branch as I am committed from Monday to Sunday at work. I was thinking of emergencies that I could have that require me to use the money in my bank account which I can't. Is this how FNB serves 'helps' its customers?
I do not dispute the fact that they must investigate things that they need to investigate. Do you think blocking my account for 2 weeks going on 3 weeks now, is reasonable for a R15 that I was paid by a company or someone for services rendered? I regret the day I opened this Aspire Account with fnb.
