FNB App is not Zero rated on the mobile networks anymore, no access to FNB if you are without data

as a FNB client, i always thought that the FNB app is "zero rated" on the mobiel networks. In other words, if i run out of data i will still be able to login and re-charge.

WELL, this is not the case.

Today, i ran out of data while on the road. I attempted to login the the FNB app to re-charge. The app was hanging. I attempted to buy airtime by using the fnb app, again it was hanging.

FNB, why is your mobile app not zero rated on the mobile networks. are you not making enough money form your client's ???

I could only access my FNB app when i arrived back home and using my WiFi. well, clearly i will not use your app again to buy airtime.

You have demonstrated to me that i cannot trust the FNB app. i will have to take my wallet with me at all times. using the FNB app to pay for goods cannot be trusted, as the mobile app is un-reliable
