FNB and Private clients account, not worth a cent

As an FNB Private client you would expect to get preferential treatment and personalized rates based on what they advertise.<br> <br> However, this is far from the case. I have been let down by FNB now on a few occasions.<br> <br> First event, I ask for a quotation for a personal loan for a certain amount. The quotation comes back for less the asked amount and at practically maximum the interest rate. I then esquire at another bank, Nedbank, and get the full amount at half the interest rate. I ask my private banker why is this and can they better it, to which I get a response, they dont negotiate,take or leave it attitude.<br> <br> Second event, I ask for a quotation for a Private clients credit card in order to create the Bundle. I needed the card to be the same amount as my existing credit card in order to cancel it. Quote comes back a third of what is requested and again practically maximum interest rate. Again a take it or leave it attitude. This after I reduced my overdraft facility more than what im asking for in the credit card. The joke is that somehow the courier phones me asking me where can they send my card, after I declined the quote.<br> <br> I dont see any personalized anything, Thanks for nothing.
