FNB and Merchant **** or policy inadequacy???
FNB has charged me a penalty for not having funds in my account on 16th April for a transaction that I did on the 26th of March.
So the crux is that merchants (the store) banks a transaction, then FNB deducts from you account? This policy is not beneficial to the account holder (client) at all.
Why does the bank send you a transaction SMS (which they charge you for as well FYI) if the funds have not left you account.
This just means the bank is sending you phantom SMS's with inaccurate information regarding your balance.
Id like to know if FNB has an account that can deduct what you buy immediately without having to wait a merchant to bank it.
furthermore, why does the bank not notify you when the return "pending funds" back into your account?
Anyone have a suggestion of a bank that actually does their job and BANKS for you instead of you having to do the balance sheet to figure out how much money you actually have?
