FNB AND DMC DISSAPOINTING SERVICE
My FNB loan account was handed-over to DMC collections agency. I realized this when DMC connected with me on WhatsAPP. I asked DMC for a discount to settle my FNB loan and they agreed that I could settle with R2720. On the 10th of January 2024 I paid the agreed amount with the expectation that my loan would be closed and that I would be sent a Paid-Up letter. After making the payment, I heard nothing from DMC and nothing from FNB. I went to check on my FNB App and could see the payment reflecting however, the loan has not been closed. My loan still shows a balance and at the time it was about R1200 and currently it is R1384. Since January I have been emailing FNB and been on their App chat service since the 12 January 2024 and they have not bothered to contact me at all. Sending proof of payment and proof of chat history with DMC was a waist of my time. DMC has cheated me into paying a lump some and FNB has failed me as a customer. Please help me to sort this out as I am trying my best to get out of debt.
This is really frustrating and its almost as if they want to keep my account so that they can earn interest. I cannot earn EBucks, I cannot close my account and find a better bank if this loan is not reflecting as settled. I would like to fix my credit score so I can see for a home for my family and because I am not backed up by expensive lawyers I must just accept poor service.
Peter, please help me.
