FNB allows vendors to take money out of their customers account without their approval
FNB allowed PicknPay asap App to deduct 3 payments from my credit card without my approval. I immediately contacted them using their App. The banker instructed me to log a dispute via their app, which I did. The App doesn't give you any proof that the dispute has been logged. I waited patiently for 5 working days before I contacted FNB again. They processed the transactions. They claim they have no record of the dispute. I had to phone the ***** dept to log the dispute a second time. They informed me it could take up to 30 days to investigate, even though they can see 3 duplicate transactions within seconds of each other. The customer has no power, the vendor has all the power. I suspect that this is an inside job. FNB doesn't protect it's customers against vendors. When they find out that the vendor was at fault they will absolutely nothing about the vendor. the vendor will continue to ******* FNB customers.
