Fnb allows transactions on a cancelled card

Used to think FNB was the best bank. Easy to use, convenient. But a couple days ago, my card details was somehow ****** when I made an Online purchase. Ok thats not their fault, its a risk you take when you make Online card purchases. But I noticed the ******* transaction immediately, and phoned to have my card cancelled. Received confirmation via the App and sms that it has been cancelled. However, without having my actual card, and despite it being cancelled, these ****mers are still able to use it through toll gates and whatever else. Phone FNB again, they say sorry too bad. We cant stop it, we can open a ***** case that can take up to 30 days to investigate. So basically, my money is no longer safe with them. They just dont give a damn. So Ive now had to move my money out and I have every intention of opening a new bank account somewhere else. Disgusting that your money is not safe in a bank.

FNB seems to have a serious breach at the moment- because my partner has now also started seeing
unauthorized Toll fees going off his account. I have not heard ANY update from FNB regarding this at all. So I will not be changing my review

FNB continues to SHOCK me with their absolute **** service!! ***** case closed NO FEEDBACK. If I want to know what the outcome is, I need to take time out of my job, use MY airtime, to sit on the call center ***** line for over 25 mins just so that the phone can NOT be answered because of High call volumes (not surprised) and then they suggest you use the Secure Chat feature, but on here, are Junior call centre agents who don't know their **** from their elbow and leave you hanging in an open chat so that there is no way, you can open a new chat and try again. FNB used to be the best- so sad to see you fall so far. The Hello Peter ratings says it all
