FNB allowing Unathorised Debit orders

I have bank accounts with SA's 'top banks' and have have been banking with FNB for many years. The primary goal of a bank should be to protect the money we work so hard for, despite this, each year I have to wrestle a ********** debit order out of my FNB account. For many years, I have wondered why 'my bank' has been unable to alert me when a Debit order has been authorized into my account in order to give me time to prevent it. This year looked like an exception but I woke up today to the annual 'what is this debit order?' game. With the lucky winner an unauthorized player by the name 'Epic3 Powerpro29'. I have to always take the burden of disputing and stopping the debit order at my expense. I have not had this problem with my other banks, I am considering switching entirely from FNB as my main account as I do not feel my funds are safe. I thought Debi-Check was created for such things?
