FNB ALLOWED SOMEONE TO **** ME

Subject: FNB ALLOWED SOMEONE TO **** ME

I am a student and I am honestly shocked, stressed and confused right now.

I went to FNB at Campus Square to open an account, but they told me I can’t because there is already an account using my ID. WHAT?? I have never opened an FNB account before.

They called the ***** department and told me that someone is using my ID to receive SASSA grant money from an FNB account. OMG how is that even possible? How can FNB allow someone to open an account with another person’s ID? This is crazy.

They even told me that the person is around Maponya Mall and gave me their phone number to call. We tried calling but they didn’t answer. Like what am I supposed to do with that information?? They told me that ,that account doesn't have any documents or anything? BUT HOWS THAT POSIBILE!!!

I then went back to the FNB branch and the consultant told me that if I want to get the money, I must use that same account, or I must close it and not receive the money at all. WHAT?? Why must I use a *****ulent account? That is my SASSA money! Then they told me I might go to jail if I use it. HOW?? I did nothing wrong. The person who used my ID should be the one getting arrested.

They told me to go to the police station, SASSA and Home Affairs, but they did not give me any proper proof of ***** or a case number. How am I supposed to open a case without proof? This makes no sense.

I then went to FNB in Jabulani to ask for proof of *****, and they only gave me a bank statement showing that the person is receiving SASSA money. That statement does not even clearly show *****.

I went to Jabulani Police Station and explained everything, but they said they cannot open a case because of proof of residence. HOW and WHAT?? This is an emergency. They then told me to go to Moroka Police Station. IMAGINE

So now I am being sent from FNB to police stations to SASSA and back, with no real help. I am dealing with something I did not do. This is so stressful.

Because of this: I cannot receive my SASSA money, I cannot open a bank account,NSFAS rejected me,I am being told I might get into trouble for something I didn’t do,I have to use my own money to fix this mess

I am a student. I depend on this money. This situation is unfair and honestly very scary.

FNB needs to fix this urgently.

I need Proper proof of ***** and a case number,My name to be cleared,Help to safely get my SASSA money and Action taken against the person using my ID.

This is not right at all. I am really stressed and need urgent help
