FNB - Account frozen after submission of FICA

FNB sent me 1 sms to tell me to re-do my FICA. Firstly, 1 sms is not valid communication. Should I have been out of country for more than 3 days the network provider would have not delivered the message. Despite this, I emailed my FICA documents on the 15th of February. On the 19th, while dining out with friends, trying to pay the bill, I was completely embarrassed when my card was declined. I tried calling the call centre the Saturday - after 10 minutes of waiting, when someone answered they dropped the call when I stated I was calling because of a frozen account(tried calling again but can't afford to constantly wait). I then submitted a complaint on their site [REF:***]. On the Monday I received a pdf form, containing the same detail as my original emailed proof of residence had, which need to be completed - this I find ridiculous. I submitted the form on the 22nd - the result - my account is still frozen! At this point I just want to completely close the account - it might be worth the admin sjlep. This has inconvenienced me immensely -day 5 without access to my account... I wonder if Steve experienced the same problems and is still such a happy FNB client
