FNB ACCOUNT BLOCKED WITHOUT NOTICE!

I advice anyone who is planning on opening an FNB business account to reconsider. It’s my biggest regret.

My business account has been blocked for close to a month now. It was blocked without notice. I only found out when I was trying to make payments.

Anyway, this girl called Nokukhanya Pewa is handling my case. She requested documents and I sent her everything. After that she stopped replying to my emails. The phone doesn’t go through. I wrote an email to her supervisor Leona. Still no reply. I’ve been sending emails with no reply for more than a week now.

Do you people have regard for others. My business has stopped functioning because of this. I haven’t even payed my employees. I haven’t even paid rent. I chose to bank with FNB because I thought it had better service. Clearly I was wrong.

How can anyone block an account and suddenly cut off all communication? Especially during lockdown. I’m responsible for other people who have families to take care of. Do you people even consider how many people get impacted?

I regret ever banking with FNB. I just want my account attended to ASAP. I will move elsewhere.

My shipment is arriving this week and I haven’t even paid for customs clearance.
