I have the same issue with fnb. I have an overdraft that I was PAYING off, as fnb can see that I am TRYING to pay during the times - CHINA-FLU - we are going through, and fnb ALSO just closed my account. They just send me an SMS stating Account is Closed.

fnb then SOLD my debt to a "Third-Party-Debt-Collectors" - "Blake and Associates". This practice is actually "*******" for a Banking Institute to SELL your Debt to a "Third-Party-Debt-Collector".

I have a Contract, signed with fnb, NOT with the "Third-Party-Debt-Collector". I do NOT make arrangements for Payment with the "Third-Party-Debt-Collector", as I do NOT HAVE A SIGNED CONTRACT WITH THEM. My CONTRACT IS WITH fnb.

My Payments is with-in as ALL my accounts are with fnb. SO, this is INTER-TRANSFERS = DIRECT ACCOUNT REFLECTIONS WITH TRANSFERS.

Now, My Account was SETTLED, WITH A R99.00 CREDIT, AND THESE c'S, STILL PHONE ME TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS??????

fnb, YOUR CALL CENTER/PHONE-IN,,,SUCKS, YOUR "agents" "most of them" are INCOMPUTANT to HELP or to LISTEN as "they" only hear what suits the fnb narrative of HELP.

Your slogan was good back in "THE Days" to "catch""people" in your "business strategy = "How Can We Help You" But I think you have LOST YOU PLOT = "How NOT to Help you".
