FNB

I reported a *****ulent transaction on my account on the on the 05th of Jan with the FNB relevant department and received an automated response saying that I will receive a response within 5working days. After two weeks of not hearing from FNB as a private client, I contacted the department meant to be handling my ***** case and asked them please track my case for me and the consulted I spoke to told me that the turn around period is two months. I continue to make the consultant aware that the automated email said 5 working days and he ignored me and continued to sound like an automated voice massage himself, repeating what he said before about the turn around period. So I let it go and I decided to wait.

Two days ago (Two months later) I received a massage on my FNB APP saying that they were unable to process my dispute and that I should resubmit the dispute. No one from the bank has contacted me to ask any question about the transaction or alerted me to the fact that they are now handling my dispute. So what guarantee do I have that anyone handled this from FNB in the first place or if they will even attend to it if I was to resubmit .

So I received a call from FNB and someone spoke to me and eventuall confirme that the case belongs with ***** because I knew nothing about the transaction...I was then put through to the ***** department where a consultant helped me and told me that the money will be back in my account in a few days....but to my surprise, the money didn't reflect. Like I am soo irritated and I don't understand why a January case is still a subject in April.....This means that my money is not safe at all
