FNB a very an unfair and unreasonable bank BEWARE

Interests were charged on my credit card, Mafia style because amongst other things my statement is the 29th of every month, based on the fact that February 2019 ends on the 28th, no one told me the reconciliation dates will run earlier on the 26th, the fact that I initially deposited my own money in the credit card and was using my own money for some few days and started using credit card funds only after my own money was finished and that no one ever explained to me explicitly when and how the 55 days is counted and interests thereof calculated when I took up the card or upgraded especially also in instances where as a client you have deposited own funds into the card. Full explanation only came when the interest was charged and I was referred from pillar to post, speaking from one banker to another without success. Finally, the matter was referred to Divashnee a Team Leader/Manager she also gave her explanation until I clearly understood exactly when and how the credit card 55 days and interest is worked out but I pointed out to her that it was not fair that I only became aware of the material information only when they charged interest and that had I known all the information earlier or initially when I took up/upgraded the credit card I would have avoided the incident because I usually settle everything I use on my credit card before 55 days and because I didn't know then what she told me now and that the interest charge was not fair according to me.

She promised to escalate the matter and came back to say the offer to reverse 50% of the charges. I still felt that it was not fair considering that the bank failed me by not fully educating clients fully on this issue and only giving sufficient information when they already charged interest. She promised to lodge a escalate it to credit card by lodging a complaint as per ref ********** . To my shock I received a reply from Credit card by Natasha Rudolph for ref ********** stating that '' We will not be reversing the interest on your account as we have explained to you numerous time how and when interest will be charged''.

I am still in shock because FNB never explained to me as their client as to what happens when i initially deposited my own money in the credit card and was using my own money for some few days and started using credit card funds only after my own money was finished and that no one ever explained to me explicitly when and how the 55 days is counted and interests thereof calculated when I took up the card or upgraded especially also in instances where as a client i have deposited own funds into the card. they only cleared this only after interests were charged.

I am not happy that premier banking said that FNB card say they can't reverse the interest it's their fault not fully informing me as their client, I usually settle within 55 days, taking into consideration the fact that I initially used my own funds I thought I was still within 55 days. they say it doesn't work that way, they should have told me earlier now I know but I didn't know. please reverse, and I was initially promised 50% reversal but I pleaded for 100% reversal. Can we not have a WIN-WIN situation. FNB reverse, I stay with FNB, FNB doesn't reverse, I move nearly 20 accounts on my profile LOSE-LOSE situation
