FNB A *********** AND STUPID THIRD WORLD BANK
Having lived and worked in Europe for over 23 years, I have never experienced such incompetence and stupidity from any bank as I have from FNB (South Africa). The service from FNB is clearly that of a third world bank and is represents why South Africa is graded as junk status for investment purposes.

28 May 2021, 08:33As a 57 yo SA expat who has returned to South Africa to retire after living and working in Europe for 2 1/2 decades the service from FNB is the most *********** and stupid I have ever experienced. All my income comes from Europe and is foreign investment which South Africa wants . However FNB responds to myself with total incompetence and stupidity. FNB earlier this year rejected a large value transfer from Europe for no apparent reason which resulted in my self losing out on the foreign exchange and this was not through FOREX. Despite my complaints about this incident and numerous other complaints, FNB has failed to respond. My advice to any expats of foreign nationals wanting to invest in South Africa is do not use FNB as you will be met with total incompetence and stupidity.
