FNB, a bunch of lying ******!

In September 2021, I was contacted by FNB and they offered me a Premier Account and on the basis that I sign with them, I will be able to participate in their promotion where if I deposit a minimum amount, have 2 debit orders and haven't cancelled an FNB account within the last 6 months, I will get R2000 for joining. This was the only reason I went with them.

Now as I edge toward the end of the promotion, they have now contacted me to tell me that I don't qualify because I have closed an account with them in the last 6 months. I haven't had an FNB account since about 2/3 years ago. I feel that this bank does everything possible to get out of promotional offerings and I am sick of it. They are no better than insurance companies. I would like a representative to contact me immediately and assist me with the termination of this account please. I can't be bothered dealing with a bunch of ******.

You guys are absolutely useless. You just sent me an email repeating the exact thing I am complaining about. I can't believe this is the service I get from a top tier bank. Still insisting I had an account but can't prove that I had one. If you can, I want records of money ever being deposited or withdrawn on the account. If you can't prove that, then you are bull****ting and falsely opening up accounts on people's names.
