I have decided to change my banks to FNB, always heard great things about them. Many of my friends and family use them. I did the application for a card online. All went well until they gave the option to choose a delivery for the card or collection from a branch. I clicked on delivery to see what the delivery options were and the next available delivery time was in OCTOBER! I went back to the previous page to rather select Collection from a branch as there is no way in hell I am going to wait until October, and the screen signed me out and I had to sign in again. Tried calling the customer care number last week. Was redirected 50 times by the voice prompt which wanted me to add my ID number in over 5 times, pushing me in circles. This was a 5 minute activity on it's own. I tried calling again now. After adding my ID number in and making the same selection another 5 times I eventually got to speak to a person. The person who answered was extremely unhelpful and rude. I had explained the situation to her and she rudely interrupted stating that it would be delivered. She didnt want to hear me out about the fact that I did not click on a delivery date etc. she didnt ask for my details to see if she could pick something up on her side. Just kept repeating that it would be delivered in a an extremely unfriendly tone.

I am now questioning if i should be changing my bank to FNB? I have not even started as an FNB user and I now sit with service like this!?

Someone better contact me to assist me with this. This should not be such a big thing to sort out??
