FNB

I can't begin to tell you all how unhappy I am with FNB service as of late. Well must say from the beginning actually. I've had issues and voicing your complaints or any Queries to them via their online service adheres to nothing. So I've realised all one can do is let others know about their shocking service. If you are thinking of becoming an FNB client my advise to you, DON'T. In the case that you moved to them recently, get the hell out, before they lock you in.

This morning(20 April 2017) I went to Cape Gate FNB. I told them at the ticket stand that I would like to get an overdraft on my cheque account. As they offer me less by doing it online than what they offered me in the very same branch a month ago. I got ticket “number 30” and was informed there might be a 45min wait . I was able to wait 45min. So I took a seat and they called “number 22”. So the waiting started. Well 50min later and they only helped 3 customers. I decided to leave. 3 customers in 50min is ridiculous. On my way out I counted how many service counters they have and how many were open. 8 Service counters and only 4 open (50% capacity at 10am).

Lets do the maths: They are open from 9am to 4 pm that gives you 7 hour. They can service 3 people in 50min. 7 x 3 = 21 people per day The extra 10min for each hour I'll leave out as the customer service agent will go on breaks and lunch

For a bank to help only 21 people a day??? Really Here is the link to their stats page of that branch

Clearly a big fat lie “https://www.fnb.co.za/locators/branch-locator.html” type and click “Cape Gate”How busy is this branch?

Collection 33 min
General 38 min
Service 31 min
I don't think so, Maybe with no customer in the branch you could get those times.

My main thing here is FNB pride them self as you can do anything online which is Utter B, I found that out the hard way. If you don't believe ask them how to close an account online!!

I would like to know why are you offering me R1100 overdraft online but R28000 in Branch?? and then I'm unable to get service at your branch within a descent time frame??

I can go on about a few other things, Icontact never got back to me a month ago. 2 Queries launched
Online complaints never got back too, never mind they say they will within 48hour if not you have to phone them LOL as if I will waist my money to phone you.. Social media is a better place to go to then.. Customer care via the phone app never answer their phones.

Know I can tell you from a previous experience, how this is going to pan out:
FNB will phone me within a day or so. They will be very apologetic for the service and that they will send my compliant to the relevant department. You then get a call from the department trying to smooth you over as a customer. How important you are to them. Blagh blagh same old **** as always and guest what nothing will come of this. After they have phoned you They will ignore any other comment you leave..

Once again I warn you all don't be a victim like me. Don't think they are better than any of the other SA banks and if you just moved to FNB move away as soon as you can.
