Flexi Bond option with no access to our addition funds - PATHETIC !!!

My husband I have a Flexi Option Bond with FNB. We've been putting in extra money in the bond account as we would like to keep a back up in there.

Now that we want to withdraw some of these extra funds, now there is no option to do so. I cannot transfer from the Bond to my FNB Cheque account because the nominated account from where the debit order comes, is ABSA. Ok, no problem then. FNB's alternative is for me to make Payment from the Bond account to the nominated account. Tried it and there is no option for me to select the Bond account to pay from. I took it up with FNB and told them the Bond account option is not there. FNB's response: Our system will regrettably not allow you to transfer funds to another bank because you have an active FNB account/s.

So both withdrawal options not available.

What is the point of having a Flexi Bond Option if there is no way to access our additional funds in the Bond?? My husband will even have a more troubled time because he doesn't have anything else with FNB.

So we have a Flexi Bond Account without the ability to get access to our additional funds. And we tick all the required criteria to have 24/7 online access to our funds.

I am SUPER fed-up with FNB and their incompetence.

I have a Global Account Card issue that is also net getting sorted!! So over this nonsense!!
