First National Bank - XENOPHOBIC BANK
I closed my account with Standard Bank South Africa a couple of years back to open a FNB account as they offered so much more that the latter did not but was shocked when I recently leaned that they do NOT offer loans to Foreign Nationals under any circumstances. . . . Its disgusting that they can be allowed to segregate like that and there's nothing anyone can do. SHAME ON YOU XENOPHOBIC BANK

13 Aug 2019, 16:41So FNB called me back almost 10mins after this post only to be referred further and about 3 referrals later a consultant called to say someone will call me to explain why they do not offer loans to passport holders and almost a month later I'm still waiting. . . . I'm not surprised by all the negative comments regarding their service. I have since opened a Standard bank account and they confirmed they are definitely not a xenophobic bank.
