First National Bank STI
Hello Peter I am shocked to see all the complains for bad service at First Nation Bank. I switched to FNB including car and home insurance 1 year ago. Beginning June23 with the heavy raining and wind in CT my bathroom ceiling collapsed. I immediately contracted FNB STI with the claim. The next day (Saturday ) they sent a builder to check. I had no feedback. The next week I phoned was transferred numerous times. Then they sent an assessor . Once again no feedback. It's now 1 week in cold and rain. I had to phoned again and was told due to waterproofing determination I must fix waterproofing put of my pocket then the ceiling will be done. I contracted them once again after waterproofing was done. Was told.to send proof which I did. 2 days pass still no feedback. I phoned yet again spoke to Robyn Moon who then apologized as the 2 week delay was her mistake because she was waiting on her manager. REMEMBER WE COULD NOT USE THE BATHROOM FOR 2 WEEKS. AND IT MAKE THE WHOLE HOUSE EXTREMELY COLD. Robyn Moon apologized and told me FNB will deposit R1850 in my account so I fix the ceiling because it's my negligence. To get a call back from her after 5 minutes saying her manager declined the full claim because it my negligence. I am very upset. Pay insurance every month even tho I'm unemployed and had to come up with R8000 to fix my bathroom. WHY DO WE PAY INSURANCE!!!!! In case of a fire or car accident are the going ro tell me it rejected because it my negligence.
And WHY did it take 2 weeks for them to tell me that 2 weeks of inconvenience for my family 2 weeks for me to follow up as FNB did not call me once with feedback
I was told last Wednesday the claim was rejected only received email at 7 this morning to confirm 26th June. Only because emailed her Saturday
Remember my ceiling collapsed I think 5th June already.
Now I must send a dispute which I will. But are hoping they contact me when receiving this complain Shahieda Eksteen
